That's pretty wide. Do you do a lot of indoor or landscape work?

I recently got the Canon 15-85mm USM as my new walkabout and I've very happy with it so far. I can't believe the difference from 18mm to 15mm....10mm must capture behind you as well

I got it specifically for landscape shots on an upcoming trip to the Fjorrds(sp)

Works well on indoor shots also - can't believe the difference on three shots taken from the same standpoint with these three lens (all Canon USM)

55-250mm
18-55mm
10-22mm

I'll upload and post a sample in due course

Best price I can find is £559.95 here.

I keep meaning to buy a Canon Eos 550D, but I keep getting unexpected things to shell out on, so it's on the to-do list
