AHHHH come on guyz its a scoob, scooby, subaru or an impreza, nothing wrong with these terms, just the younger gen adding the slang to there ever growing language
The word itself doesnt bother me... the close relation that some people have to Scooby-Doo however, I don't like!! Why stick Scooby-Doo stickers all over your car?! Each to their own I guess like

I think
1. your lucky if you own one
2. is it uncool for your car to have a nickname, not all cars do?
No, it's not uncool if it's a term of endearment, as it is with 'Scooby' I do, however, cringe a little bit when I see stuffed Scooby-do's on the bonnet of Impreza's at shows!
The nickname stuck only because of it's rhyming link.

Su-ba-ru ... Scoo-by-doo
Ref to scooby doesn't upset me albeit I just say Impreza (most of the time).

good point maybe thats my issue, the stuffed scooby doo thing I find slightly weird, I never had a problem calling my Porsche a Porsch even used to call my Elise a Liz as a lot of owners do,
so I think it's either a problem with having a 2 syllable "nick name" or the stuffed scooby doo thing
If i hear anyone call an Impreza a Scooby my mind still conjours up a shagged out classic with rally repro graphics, shiny "ebay performance" wheels, too many speakers and an eurotunnel exhaust.
Either way glad I'm not on my own

btw, no offence intended to Classics
the scooby pic at the side of your profile is a classic

I'm aware of that
I love classics if my Impreza was a weekend toy I would have bought a 555 STI Classic, but it's my everyday hack so I bought the best thing for my needs which ended up being a Bugeye wagon
theres no option for a newage wagon pic on the profile btw
