Hi,

Well, I find out tomorrow if my Turbo is kn@ckered (I suspect it isn't but I guess there is a chance ... actually, what definate way is there of checking if it's ok?). Anyway... _if_ it is wrecked what replacement would you recommend, what sort of price can I expect to pay (including VAT + fitting etc) and do you know of any suppliers?

ta,
Matt

The "only" real way to check, is to get it tested by a turbo specialist. The will strip, and run it up on the balance machine.

If it is knackered, you have various choices, depending on what your current car is, what you're trying to achieve, and how much you're prepared to spend.

Mark.

Well, it would appear that it was a false alarm, Cheam have had a look (although admittedly not a strip-down!) and say that it's fine
