As above.

I have Norton on my laptop as it's what I got as part of the package when I bought it, but we need something on the main PC.

Just looking for thoughts of those in the know.

We have windows7 if that is relevant.

Cheers.

Kaspersky internet security suite 2010 (bargain at less than 25 quid for 3 licences ), though most people will give you a long list of different ones

I've never heard of this before. Think I might take Norton off and put this on instead.

Feels a lot more 'snappy' now. Doesn't take as long to boot up either. Thanks for the heads up!

Is the Microsoft one on the PC already or do you have to download it. I'm looking for a free package.

Free download

Has Norton been bought by PC World now? They seem to be forcing it on you a lot there and when installed it has links to their tech support.

Thanks guys, I might go with the microsoft one, better still that it's free.

Think it may be true that PC World 'force' norton onto people as that's where I got my laptop from and norton was included for a reduced price, as it seemed to be with all deals.
