Default Tapping noise?? on start up

Hi all,

I have started getting this slight tapping noise on start up, I dont know if it would be a tappet or what? But when the car is warm it goes.

I am having my car serviced saturday, so hoping a oil change might help!

any ideas would be great just dont tell me I must sell my other baby!

It's common with forged pistons apparently

my bug makes a slight tapping sound for a couple of mins after a cold start.been like this since a bought it 10k miles ago.
some say a thicker oil helps dampen the sound a bit.
i believe its common on alot of scoobies and nothing to be concerned about.
