anyone got one of these?,i may be looking to purchase in the near future,how loud are they?anyone thinking of selling up shortly?i do need to find out how loud this system is compared to 2.5" systems/backboxes etc first tho

 

nur spec R = 105db without bung .... 96db with bung

nurspec S = 92-96db

nurspec RX = 91db

 

why so much variation on the spec s? to me it would make sense that the spec s should be quieter than the rx as your keeping the 2.5 mid section?

Don't see what's wrong with this as the Nur Spec S is backboz only right? says so on the Blitz website.

 

Kind of off topic, but how loud is a genome?? Less than blitz but louder than others like the ninja series??

just foned bltz for the big question and robs already beat me 2 it.the nur spec rx is quieter,he also said the spec s is loud! hope its gonna be ok for you rob

 

i emailed them lastnite, just got a reply saying that the R and RX db readings can be found on the website (i know that,but they vary thats why im asking ) and thay have never done a reading for the S but he has heared one and he says its loud.

i doubt its as loud as the R though tbh seen as the R is a 3" cat back system which will increase the volume

 

this is what i cant understand with the rx as its 3". i think the backbox is made to be alot quieter regardless to the 3" pipework. RX is defo quieter from what im hearing.

 

foook knows mate...its gonna be a case of try it and see me thinks. like you say perhaps the RX has a better baffle inside to deaden the sound more
