I have a impreza turbo 2000, r reg, 98, uk model, where exactly is fuel pump relay an what 1 is it on my car..

should be up under the dash on the driverside A pillar.

more likely faulty pump though or plug under back seat

Hi the thing is car starts fine 95% off the time, example / s i stalled car it took ages for it to start, so i wondered what could be friend said could be fuel pump relay. it turns over but dont start for a min or 2.

 

If you look where Simon mentions, you'll see a cluster of 3 relays on a bracket - The FP relay is the round relay with the green wiring plug

 

sounds more like crank or cam sensor

when it next does this.. check to see if fuel pump is priming..
