YouTube - Subaru STI X-Force Varex butterfly valve muffler

never seen 1 of these like. must cost a bit for 1 of these although closed it sounds s**t

Seen them in a manual version but never remote controlled. Cant see the motor lasting very long eh

i know yea just seen another vid of it. seems to hold alot of water/condensation behind them. waste of money for gadgets like that as id just keep it open or which sounds the best but can see it being ok if u swap from normal roads to motorways

Aussies might have "noise level laws" (sounds like an aussie on the vid) Maybe track day noise limits too?

There was a manual apexi version on mine when i got it, though it was only the plunger and cable the exhaust part had been removed.

A lot easier to have a removable bung,20 seconds to bolt on/off and no eletrics to go wrong.You will get condensation/water whenever you restrict the exhaust,it happens on a normal exhaust on start up,but more noticeable when the exhaust is restricted.

Hyperflow do a similar piece of "add-on" hardware ?

No remote to my knowledge.

i not getting 1 of these just thought bit of rubbish technology for lazy guys. i just got a jasma group n exhaust an looking forward to the sound
