Yes. Its only the plated LSDs that need the slippy LS gear oil, your rear diff is a viscous LSD so you can use the same as needed in the gearbox
I think there may be an offer coming up next week, not sure of the details, but I think that will be the time to buy if you need a few things.
The Lightweight shockproof will be fine for the diff, but it's not recommended for the gearbox as it's designed for straight cut boxes etc, rather than synchro boxes. I've not heard of any time that the Light shockproof has caused a problem, but Redline won't back it up if things go wrong in a synchro box. Go for the Millers CRX 75w-90NT or Motul Gear 300 instead for the gearbox. Use a 10w-50 in the engine.

I don't know what engine your dad has, so I won't recommend anything for him yet.
