Thinking of buying a Scooby
Hi guys, how you all doing.
I'm changing my car and I'm am very keen to try out Subaru ownership, and what better place to get advice and tips than the best scooby owners forum around, so I went to the SIDC (only kidding)
.
PLEASE DON'T BAN ME.........yet.
Anyway, as I said I'm completely new to the scooby so I'm basicly looking for advice on what to look for when I go to see prospective cars.
Just as a starter, a garage near me is selling a 1999 RB5, with just an aftermarket exhaust and approx 80k on the clock, fsh, t&t for 5k...is this good?
Thanks in advance.
Michael

Welcome
Its a little expensive, maybe 4.5k is a better price (its a ltd edition of 444 but still they only hold about a 10-20% price increase over a standard MY99 car).
Have a look on pistonheads for some examples and prices
