Default Grahame walker Chester

Hi

Has any one had any bad experience with Grahame Walker of Chester. I purchased an 04 plate STI Type UK last year and when I bought it I noticed a wing mirror was cracked which they promised to fix. Several calls and visits over the last year and no mirror. Yesterday I got a punction, no problem I'll put the space saver on, as it was the rear and the one supplied you would think it would fit. Wel in did'nt fit and in the dark trying to bolt it on I damaged my caliper.

I was going to use them for servicing but if they cant even get a mirror or supply the correct fitting wheel what else cant they do.

Just wondering if anyone uses them regular, I've emailed them and just waiting for reply

Hmm may not be their fault if someone swapped the spare before it got to them!

They should have done a PDC though and that should have been checked

I was going to buy a car from them, but the price jumped £500 in the middle of the deal.. and they were 100% it couldn't be dropped.. I walked away.. only to be called and told they had worked a way to drop it.. sorry too little too late. Wouldn't go back .. I need to trust the people I buy from..

Everyone else I've spoken to has had good experiences with them though.

I bought my STi from them last year. Nice cars there and Matt was very helpful. Thought a little pricey but pay for convenience. Did notice quite a few including mine had been caught on front splitter and various stone chips to front bumpers and bottom of doors.
Suppose thats the nature of the cars and previous owners. Not had any problems with my car but did get 4 new tyres as they had worn on inside.
Also been to NKS for wheel alignment and will be going there in future for any servicing.

I bought a WRX STI about 2 months ago from there. To be fair i was disapointed at first as there were 18 faults. NOT a good start especially as it was my first Scoob. Plus a piece of the under plastics fell off on the way home from picking it up day one. Anyway they have sorted all the problems out and i am pretty well happy now.
Thought they would have done a better check in the first place!
