We didnt know whether to invest it or not, but I understand that they have people to advise you on what to do with your winnings.

Maybe you would do well to get some professional investment advice.

Maybe they should release some sort of guidance leaflet. Just so people don't get reckless.

You do realize that you're more likely to be hit by lightning than win the lottery ... waste of time & money IMHO.

They'd advise you to invest in 10 more tickets

I should think so too. They have a responsibility.

I fail to see how that makes sense. Although I've heard it said many times, along with being killed in a plane crash.
However, although the chances are slim all you need do is spend £1. To get struck by lightning you first have to stand outside when its thundering and lightning. Most people tend to stay inside in a storm. Similarly, if you never get on a plane your unlikely to die in a plane crash (unless one manages to hit you in the process of crashing which I imagine is even higher in the unlikely stakes)
Its only a £1 now and again.

If you spend £1 per week & do so for the next 14 million weeks then you MAY win big ... best of luck

Well if you get 5 numbers the av win is £1500 ... odds of that are 1 in 55000 so after just 55000 weeks you should be OK

looking at it scientificly is fine
but the other day i launched a plastic bottle into air to go to the bin and it missed, but it landed the right way up on a ledge of a brich wall that was 6 inches in width, maybe 10 feet from were i was stood
whats the odds on that happening again?
you never know...............

What other way is there! It's pretty simple - chances are that you'll play for the rest of your days & win just £10 here & there
You could of course buy all 14 million tickets & you'll 100% win the Jackpot albeit may have to share the spoils with someone else.

If the odds of winning are 14 m to 1, and you bought 14m tickets, then your odds would be 28m to 14m, so you would then be 50% likely to win, not 100%
