Yeah looks fake to me - having said that the F35 is an amazing aircraft that can make some pretty spectacular turns.....

Apparently the pitch control at the rear end failed during the hover allowing the aircraft to slide backwards off the lift thrusters so the pilot slammed the forward thrust and miraculously got away with it.
