Default faulty turbo timer/alarm?

hey guys jst a quick one, when i turn the car off and lock the doors via the alarm fob (toad cat1) the doors lock until the turbo timer has counted down and killed the engine then the doors unlock themselves? jst to add the alarm doesnt activate unless i lock it after the timer has finished? so basically i cant leave the car until the timer has finished so it reders it kinda usless haha any1 shed any light?

Because my alarm and turbo timer are seperate i am similar to you. I can lock the doors with the key whilst the turbo timer is active but cant activate the alarm. I would imagine that setting the alarm will kill the ignition ciruit and this would make the turbo timer usless.

Hope this makes some sense.

To be honest a lot of the time i never use mine. I take it easy ( off boost ) for the last mile or two before i get home as this has as much effect as leaving it running.

Mines has an auto feature on it so it determines how long it runs for it can be up to and over two minutes sometimes.

i never try the alarm when its on i just lock the doors with the keys so i cant help about the door opening bit.

I have mine set for 10 seconds, and likme previous drive gently from entering our village so a couple of miles from home. By the time I am out of the car the timer as cut the engine. I don't have the unlocking issue with my clifford alarm even though the timer is a seperate item and was fitted two years before the alarm.
