Default Desperately needed help re: BC Coilovers

Hi Guys

If any of you have BC - BR Series coilovers on an STI 05+ model could you please post up what part number your coilovers are.

Mine don't seem to fit; I have a 2005 STI and have F-03 part number, BR series BC coilovers.

Really need to get this problem resolved quickly and we are fast running out of ideas.

I really appreciate all your help guys!
Regards

Chris

53WRX - My car would be a GDE/F and I have F-03 so as far as I no I have the right coilovers but they simply don't fit.

The front whiteline arb was hitting the rack with the coilovers on so the oem arb was put back on and that hits the rack as well.

The first thing they will ask you, and I apologise for asking a 'well der' question, but if the arb is fitted properly, the arb dips under the steering linkage not over. Hopefully it's a ride height issue ?

Xtreme/Paul has tried going to max ride hight and even the the arb only just clears, but then the car is like standard ride hight.

The end of the arb be is fouling the under side of the steering linkage.

OK OK Hold up!

The Whiteline front ARB has a design fault! And it's better to use a classic bar on a Newage. Ive been in some depth with this with Whiteline.

It's possible the front ARB you have is at fault and thats what is making the ARB Hit the steering rack arms!

I would contact Bren@apex on here and also while you do that take some pictures of whats going on and post them up here aswell!

I have pictures of my arb hitting the steering rack because the newage bar is toss!

[quote]As posted by Cossie-Nutter, there are issues when fitting Whiteline Front Anti Roll Bars to New Age scoobys, the point being that the ARBs made for the classsics are a better fitment on later cars.

Newage at the top that touches the steering rack and makes funny noises when turning or on full lock

Classic at the bottom that sites 110% better and more flush with the drop links and not bent over!

I took this picture when swapping to the classic bar.

Classic bar fitted to New Age scoob.

This is a Newage ARB Bar showing it will push the drop links into the steering rack and even changing the drop links to whiteline done the same. (This is my car before I swapped tot he classic Arb bar above!)

The Roll bar was correctly fitted as per instructions!

Many thanks to Cossie for the information...
