As per title, where is the best place to get one cannot get it anywhere, seems that on the websites they do not do my year.

MY06 Hawkeye STi, pref in Red to match other hose, have just went round and sorted all clips etc and noticed the slight tear in the black one and also the red one was slightly off as seen in picture, rather be safe than sorry.lol image below:

I bought one of these from Viper for my 2006 STI and although a good quality piece of hose you have to cut them down to size. Not really a problem but I thought it would have come the correct length.

Mac - looking at that jubilee clip holding the hose on the turbo, I'd also look at getting a new hose there as well.
Mine looked like that when swapping to a 20g and it wouldn't stop the hose blowing off as the hose was little on the short side.
Used an SFS on in the end and its fine.

I took that one off and re fittted it, as it was a bit wonky, however i dont know if it has always been like that or has it recently just worked askew, it is now repositioned correctly and tightened to a inch of its life, lol.

how easy is that one to change????, not much room in there.

Its not to bad just have to take the I/C off fix the new one to the underneath then wiggle it all back in place. If your doing both pipes as your photo you should have no problems

The std red one has a little twist in it to fit the VF43 properly, but this causes a problem with other turbos plus is a little short.
The intercooler has to be taken off and the red one removed.
I got a 90 deg elbow and cut it to size - it now makes changing the IC easy and has stopped the hose leaking.
i'll find the hose model in the morning.

Default Thread resurrection!

Sorry to bring back an old tread but I'm looking for an intercooler to throttle body hose (just in case I wreck the current one installing a charge temp gauge) and have found the two places mentioned in this thread but can't find the width / length ?

Found one on ebay to fit classics but not sure if that is the right size (and the advert says tey are not sure either!)

But the problem is I don't know whether the MY99/00 intercooler to throttle body hose the same size as the one I need for my 2003 WRX

Also I only want the throttle body hose, not the full kit

Right, think I'm sorted

In case this is useful for anyone in the future, spoke to ScoobyParts who put me on to a company called SFS who make hose kits. Apparently the hose I needed has a bore of 76mm and is 51mm long.

Their product code for this is SCH71, will need to be cut down a bit and can be bought here
SFS Performance - Silicone Hoses

One ordered and on the way!
