What's the fastest you've ever driven?
So we all love our car's and I just wondered what's the highest speeds some of us have achieved in any of our car's or bike's or whatever.
Now I'm not looking for a debate on safe driving practices or any of that malarkey
so let's just have the figures and the vehicle too if you like whether it was on-road or on a test track (as mine was
).
Now obviously speedometers aren't spot on but my best is 145mph in my96 JDM classic WRX (so far
) but there was more left in it, just not enough track left.

I knew I'd be the slowest
....170mph on a bike dexster81, that must have been nuts.
I have travelled at 165mph in my oldman's Cerbera when he had one some years ago but that doesn't count as he was driving. Keep em' coming guy's.

Ditto! I'm not sure how fast it was, but it was off my clock, and I didn't dare look at the sat nav. It was on a slight down hill to be honest, but if anyone pulled out in front of me, which they did quite often, i'd be dead for sure!

200mph on speedo?? 400rpm into red line in my 360 CS. Dam right those bridges come up quick especially driving with one hand taking a pic. Done it once but doubt if I'll do it again.

I take it that's a bike? I've riden a few bikes(only scramblers & pedal
) and I cannot imagine what it's like at those speeds. I know I'd die..............cause I think I'd have a heart attack
would have no problem doing it in a car but a bike? no-way, respect Graeme
175 MPH on the back of a Mitsui tuned Yamaha FZR 1000Exup (Ex-TT bike). Many years ago now, but I remember it being like flying through a tunnel, like the air around you had solidified! When we slowed down to 120, it was like you could just step off the bike, it felt that slow.
When I look back, it was just ridiculous. Saying that though, the rider reported back a week later that he went off the clock (180mph clock) that day!
