hi guys, looks like i`m going to have to part with my beloved but wots it worth?
used values are all over the place, a dealer offered me £10500 and the cheaky get had a year older/higher mileage one on the forecourt at £16000!! unbelievable. she`s not standard either so how do you value that. when i think she cost me £22000 and what i`ve spent, well it`s a killer init.

she`s a black 06' hawkeye sti, 24k, 12 mths mot, new front pads, proper prodrive alloys, full turbo back miltek exh.,forge hoses/header tank, hks d/v, k&n, uprated fuel pump, ecutek remap/rolling roaded by scooby clinic 342.5hp/400lb/ft.
4 owners but in reality only 2. i had some personal problems a while back so locked her away in the garage and transfered her to my mate for 6 months or so, the car never moved out of my garage but the excercise added 2 owners [my mate then me again]but at least i got to keep her a bit longer.

in september07 we had some overheating problems eventualy put down to a holed radiator but as it took a while to find the problem, as a precaution the engine was stripped by richard at rs motorsport in elvington[he really knows his stuff] the heads were checked out[fine], new pistons, water pump, comtec head gaskets, radiator[obviously!!] etc,etc cost me about £2500 and that was with richard trying to keep the costs down for me. i`ve only done about 3k since i got it back in july08 which is such a waste but means she`s just run in really. it`s gunna kill me to sell but lifes a bitch eh!
so any help putting a fair value on her so i can get her in the trader would be really appreciated.

around 13-14k with the year and milage of it and mods on it, 15k on a good day

 

Doesn't sound too dissimilar to my car in terms of spec and mileage and mine is up for £15K : Subaru : 2006 Impreza STI Spec D

I've had lots of swaps and part ex offers but no cash offers yet. Market is slow, but if you are willing to wait you should get what it is worth - £13k-£15k IMO but expect to take around £14k.
