dirt/rust in the fuel tank

Question dirt/rust in the fuel tank

when i was fitting my new walbro fuel pump i found what i could only discribe as dirt rust or grit floating about my fuel tank

was wondering what problems this would cause also how could it have got in there

also how hard is it to remove the fuel tank if any ones done it be fore a bit of a heads up of what i have to do would be nice cheers in advance steve

im sure your fuel filter will sort that out for you mate,as long as you change it every so often

Wouldn't worry about it mate, bound to get a bit of **** in there after 16 years. It shouldn't get past the bag filter on the pump let alone the main fuel filter.
