RAC TracStar - WARNING
#1
We've had a lot of debate about these things on the bbs, and I've always sang RAC's offering's praises. However, now that I've sold my P1, I contacted the RAC to cancel my subscription and get a refund for the remaining months -ie most of the year as first 6 months were free. Here's the reply:
[QUOTE]Thank you for letting us know that you have sold your Subaru P1. I am
afraid your remaining subscription is not refundable. Please could you
advise us who you have sold your vehicle to.[quote]
I'm waiting to hear if they're going to try to fleece the next poor bugger for another 112 quid, cheeky b4tards.
Anyone know if tracker has a similar policy? If not, it's another point in their favour.
Anyway, guess who WON'T be fitting an RAC device to his next car eh!

I have a trackstar fitted to my scoob, i knew about this, you can pay a transfer fee and have it moved over to your new car but as P1's come equipped as standard....
I have paid a lifetime's worth (equals out after about 3 years) i think most companies will do the same thou
