Default 0.6 bar pressure?

I just changed the VF35 on my 04STI with a TD05-20g. Only thing I did was to remove the headers, remove the shields and wrap it.

After everything is fittet, the car only runs 0.6 Bar boost (actuator pressure).. Any ideas what is wrong.

The boost solonoid is clicking in test mode, and is clean. The pressure hose with the pill is towards the actuator (correct?)

Car was ecutek'ed with the VF35, so should be fine below 1.4bar

And there is no errorcodes... ?

I thought the pill should be the other side of the T (compressor outlet). It is on the classics anyway. Without it there its possible that there is so much air flow out the compressor side that the solenoid can't bleed enough to reduce the pressure in the pipes (and therefore on the actuator) effectively the same as connecting the compressor side directly to the actuator.

No. I was told by the guy that mapped the car, that it should be fine running with it. As long as it doesn't come above 1.4bar (it ran 1.4bar on the VF35). The ECU map says 2.37 in the boost table, but it only hits 0.96bar relative manifold pressure.

So do I need to get it remapped again to get it fixed?

Could it be the wastegate duty cycles in the map that is so different from the VF35, that it would explain the missing boost?

Pill may be mis-sized for the new actuator, if the actuator pressure is lower it will open earlier.

ScOoby, own thread or it will be a nightmare to unravel!
