Im going to Ireland in a couple of weeks and was wondering about the sul situation.Is it easy enough to get shell vpower or tesco 99ron?

was working over there more than a year around the dublin area. and as far as i can remember they only had 95. and its dearer than uk thanks to the low pound -euro rate.

I live in Northern Ireland and locally the best I can get is 97ron. This is classed as our sul.
To be on the safe side mate I would bring a good supply of octane boost.

What part of the country are ya visiting?

maxol e5 all in every maxol grage , e5 is 99 ron rated , thats wat most of us use over here

Sorry I can't help you but I don't use SUL in my 1.6GL LOL

There's no SUL in the republic at all, as macmac says Maxol E5 is supposed to be 99 RON - my car was remapped on this and it's definitely not as good as SUL.
