Default Volkswagen Touran Problems-

Anybody had any wiper problems on these .They seem to be pausing in between strokes and stopping after a while then starting off again. They also ,when switched on go down a little before sweeping upward. Thanks for any info

Might be completely barking up the wrong tree, but I think what your describing is the tear drop wiping system - Its on Audi's as well, rear wiper on mine does one or two wipes after been activated to clear the screen with water, then pauses for a while and then wipes again to collect up any water runs.
The re positing of the wiper (more noticeable on front wipers) at rest or activation is a system that stops the flat wiper blade wearing prematurely dues to stopping / starting in the same place every time.
