Go on Bob - don't keep us in suspense Mate! Have you managed to run it in yet? We all thought you be using the laptop and mobile to post on Scoobynet while running in at 120 down the M1......

Not stopped grinning all day

Never realised people would stare as much as they have been...maybe it's my bad driving ?

Only problem I have with it is keeping the rev's down...I just can''t resist it...
and I'm having to concentrate real hard to stick to the speed limits...driven passed 3 radar guns today, luckily for me they were in built up area's, and I NEVER speed in built up area's.

Off back out again got some miles to do before the 1k service next week!

BOB

Nice one bob, glad your having a good one.

No it's not your driving I know what you mean though it's amazing how many people gawp at ya, never had that before, but then I've never had a scooby before. Only problem is it's always geezers.

Have fun,

Boultsy.

Bob,
Check the grey plug above the engine to the right of the alternator.
Mine was unpluged but needs to be pluged in.(for air con to work properly, even though the aircon light still worked)
Just in case yours was missed like mine.

Hi Active
My fingernails have long since gone and my fingers are now down to the bone. Good job I've still got my Turbo to play with or I'd have no hands left

Not long to go now

After a lot of thought I decided to have it delivered, I would have loved to have collected it though, but the thought of spending £350 for dealer plates and third party insurance put me off. Annoying thing is though I have my own insurance arranged but until it is registered in GB it`s not insured.
Being collected Tues so I hope to have it Wed/Thurs ...god it`s just got to come it seems worse now than when I first ordered it 5 months ago!
No nails left so sucking fingers!
Best regards all

New Service schedule does not require 1000 mile service IIRC

first service should be 10,000 miles

Phil

We have an imported MY02. So whatever happebs we need the 1000 miles. Im picking mine up on the 13th & the dealer has said that we will need to follow the service book given in Belgium, which means we need the 7.5K service as well!

Harry_Boy LOL

Phil, is that right about no 1000 mile first service

I don't like the idea of keeping oil in the system after the intitial running in period
Yorkie

BTW, what does IIRC mean ?
