Chris

The one you found was the one to which I refered to in the post that appears to have been deleted.

I've just been perusing this thread http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...d=74917&Page=8, currently in the GENERAL SECTION, and that appears to be currently 8 pages of virtually naff all to do with subarus and should in all honesty end up in the MUPPET FORUM

Still wondering...

There is a bit of double standards in moderating. But as the saying goes, I wouldn't do it for the money!

Puff, the moderators of this BBS do our best to be fair, consistent and open. I dont know what you expect from us. It's not helpful pointing out a post that you think should be moved in this way.

There is a button in every thread that allows you to report the thread to a moderator for us to take a look at. Please us that facility.

It's not always posible to act on that immediately, we do have lives to leed beside moderating this board, some of us are incredibly busy at times.

Dont expect to get what you want all the time either, you are a user of this BBS just like the thousands of others out there. We cant please everyone, it's imposible.

I dont think some of you people apreciate what you have.

It wasn't me!

I can only assume that one of the other moderators had a look and made a spur of the moment decision to delete it.

Unfortunately, we don't always have the luxury of thinking for a long time whether a certain thread is suitable for a certain forum etc. Most of the time we get it right, but not always

I guess perhaps this one was just one of those spur of the moment decisions. Personally, I probably would have left it alone for a while, as I know the guy selling the bits up in Aberdeen very well.

Quite often, a thread in general may be suited to another forum, but might have aleady attracted a few replies by the time we read them, so I quite often wait a short while until a reasonable number of responses have been made, and the original query answered, before moving it to a more suitable home. This means that anyone with a similar query in the future would have all the answers in the appropriate forum.

Cheers

John
