Car is up @ Mocom getting its final fettling for ScoobySprint and as I need a car Zak kindly lent me his Type RA (thanks m8
I've never driven a scoob with a spoiler before (my RA doesn't have one and PTMW! was obviously a wagon) and I'm just really concious of this large thing in my rearview mirror! Interferes with my looking out for plod on the motorway and quick glances across the mirror make me double-take for close followers.I'm sure I'll get used to it but its seriously off-putting at the moment
Stop being a nonce
Mid level ones are easy to drive with because you can see pretty much anything behind you . It is when you have an sti5 or 6 spoiler. Then you have something to moan about. I have to drive rude boy stylee to have any chance of seeing the plod on my tail

I have an STI V7 JDM and got rind of the WRX spoiler for the proper high level spoiler and dont find a problem with it at all.
Have nothing against WRX spoilers just mine is a STI and wanted the STI spoiler.

The mid-level spoilers on my MY00 and STI 2 were just at the right level to block the headlights of anyone following... the one on my P1 is a bit higher, so not as useful for that - but who can argue with a bit of carbon fibre?
