As per the title really. I'm spending a week on Skye soon (staying in the far NW of the island) and was wondering if I'll be able to get hold of super unleaded OK. Is anyone here local or has anyone visited recently?

The garage on the left as you go through Kyle towards the old ferry terminal was thinking about doing Shell V-Power a couple of years ago. Not sure about that now, nor about whether the place on the way S from Portree does either.

I think the best you will get is 97 ron. There are about thirty scoobies from all over scotland going up for the weekend 2nd and 3rd of May.

You'll get 97 Octane in Broadford, and Portree. Take Octane booster to be on the safe side.

Cheers guys - appreciate the help and advice. I've since found out that West End Garage (the Ford place) does Super but only 97 ron. The car's mapped for V-Power so I'll just have to take it easy and drive gently. But as Big Al says, it's a fantastic place, so the perfect place to simply pootle along and enjoy the scenery

 

whenever i work in skye i take octane booster as well-the roads are great and i always ended up getting branch surgeries in staffin or uig lol
