Alarm key pad??? Usualy in the glove box, instructions in user manual.

Yeah that is the alarm keypad. But its been strangley relocated.

Oh right. I knew they were in a different location on the newages. Didn't think it was there. Shame, its a waste of a handy small storage area.
Classics are in the glovebox.

It comes witrh the Sigma alarm, that tends to be on UK cars only.

As above. the small drawer to the right of the steering wheel by your knee, you can see the pedals in the pic, or in the glovebox.

yep, i've got one of those in there, on a UK bug.

its so you can dis-arm the immobiliser if the keyfob goes flat i think. not sure what the code is for my car though

Don't go pressing random numbers on it though unless you know what the original code is. You run the risk of immobilising the car then. I think I am right when I say that a Subaru dealer can reset it though.

Yeah, so long as you have the code you can superlock the car etc and change the security settings. Pad drops down just by your right knee.

You can also change the code, but you need to know the current code to be able to change it!

Nope. you can change the code as long as you still have a working key fob to arm disarm.
I'll find the instructions.
