Default Best Panel Filter

Which is the best one to go for on a 2006 WRX?

Currently looking at Green filter, or HKS Super Impreza, but open to suggestions.

K&N for me!
Personally I don't think that there's a lot between the big brands, But if you are going to keep the car for a few years get a free flow one over the standard, you get years out of them and keeps the service cost down a little bit.

Same here and as mentioned saves a little on the servicing costs due to it being cleaned not replaced.

The STI panel filter is the best (this is not standard even on an STI ).

Then either K&N or Simota IMHO.

I've used a few over the last couple of years just on the STi.

STi
Green
TSL Green Grp N
JR

I have to say I noticed more noise via the air box (with Forge recirc with RED spring) on both Green and JR filters. I've kept the Green one in for now as the noise is like the fluttering noise you normally get with cold air feeds for some reason.

JR filters are extremely overlooked, quality filters in my opinion.

And also the main panel filter that Zen performance use, although I've noticed they've started stocking Cosworth panel filters now as well, so they might be pretty good.
