Parked my car in a car park and within two hours of returning noticed that someone had reversed into my front end damaging the bonnet.I presume from the height of the damage that it must have been a lorry or a high 4WD vehicle. I hope i can have it banged out. It pisses me off when S**t like this happens. Just as well he/she did a runner the mood i was in after. Very wise!! Why dont people take their time. But on the bright side its made me want an sti7 now.

PS Have you noticed that if someone prangs or scratches your car it makes you not want to drive it, or is that just me being silly?

 

I know exactly what you mean. But it just makes me want to rag the engine even more for some reason. I mean, my car's damaged anyway, so why not just race it right?

Every time I have my car damaged(not exactly seriously),I try to sell it immediately.I understand you very well.

 

I had some cosmetic damage on mine and I felt like it was now seriously second hand and wanted to get rid. When I got it back it looked better than new and realised I didnt want to sell it.

Get it fixed and take it from there is my advice.

i was up nottingham the other week visiting my mate gridlock mikey, he said i had to cos he had just got his pimp tints done on his windows, anyway my car was parked up outside his house and BANG! some dozy plonka hit my car reversing out of their drive! tell me again why manufacturers put reer veiw mirrors in cars?
i only drive a pug 405 but it still made me want to not drive it cos others would think hey look at the tosser who cant drive cos his wing is all banged up.... oh well better shove a new wing on i suppose!

Cheers guys i thought i was being stupid. Its a pain in the **** though and puts us all to alot of bother.I will get it fixed eventually then i think i will sell it cos i want something a bit quicker.

Someone did the same to me in Dec 2000, reversed into the back and drove off, went to court 3rd time this month and he got found guilty, but ive not recieved a penny cos i cancelled the claim after my insurance premium doubled, so dont cancel your claim, spose i could do something about it but cant be arsed now.

That was a 4WD as well, you wasnt in the oldham/rochdale area were you.

And now ive had someone break into it and nick my clifford siren and my cd, but as theres little chance of me getting what i want for it I dont mind keeping it.

Did you look around the area to see if there were any CCTV cameras or shopping store cameras that could have recorded it for you, thus getting you a REG !!!

There was a builders yard nearby, i suppose i could see if they had any cameras in or around their premises. Niceone.
