I had a message on my work anasphone tonight from A guy called "Alan Langer" or some thing like that from Subaru head office.
I have no idea what he wants
Has anyone else been contacted by him today or does anyone know him or know why he might want to speak to me
I know this is mad but im a worrier & am hoping that someone can put my mind to rest
Otherwise i will worry all weekend til i can call him back on Monday !
Yeah, I had a call too - he is asking some people if they want to run an STi for a year all expenses paid, to test them. I said nah thanks its too ruddy ugly for such a handsome fellow such as I!!
I got my call nearly 3weeks ago. This is STi Wagon. Know what you mean about fuel. I have to log everything that goes in it. Filled yesterday.59.49l=13.10galls. 257.6mls=19.66mpg. Sucks.
Maybe they put into the hat the second/third owners too?? did you get a warranty on the ones you bought second-hand? maybe thats how they got your name?
Would you be interested then?? It means writing a report at the end of the year too
It IS insured by Schofield Insurance too - sort of a publicity stunt - still, if you want an STi for a year I would drive to Subaru UK tomorrow and get your name down
Special day opening tomorrow - and the cars are going to be in the Corsica livery colours to make it a special event - top gear are covering the hand over of keys
Stop winding him up guys, this could be serious. Apparently a handful of P1's, relating to a specific production line run, have a serious engine problem. Not sure of the details but it is being described as a pontential time bomb, IM have traced chassis numbers involved and are personally contacting the owners.
