cv boots / drive shafts

Does anyone know if front drive shafts on a classic wrx are surclipped or just push out . i need to chang the cv boots ?

theres a pin that goes thru the driveshaft at the gearbox side they just tap out (its a spring pin) not sure about the cv joint to driveshft

cv boot change

i need to change cv boot on my classic but unable to remove drive shalf from the hub any one have any ideas on how to do this any input would be greatful?
