no 4 gear!?

Default no 4 gear!?

hi all had put my scoob in to my local subaru garage for a clutch and when got it back it was crunching going into fourth and next day would not go in just jumps out or does not go in and 3rd crunchs as well somtime any body any idears cheers

take it back to were u had the clutch fitted quickly

I did take it back and they said its noughthing they did so i think they dont want to know it was fine b4 it went in they said its the syncro mesh 3rd and 4th but i dont no wat to do

Cant see how the syncro mesh relates to a new clutch fitting

maybe you should be a bit more firm with them, if you are quite sure there was no problem before with gearchange

perhaps they trashed the car around a bit before you got it back... seen before unfortunately

oil level ok? was it ran without oil or low oil level?? thats what i would be asking.

everything was ok oil level fine it was a nice smooth box it all happened when when the clutch slave cyilinder went on it so i took it in and they said i needed a clutch as well but it was fine i no it was they said the clutch fork had done somethine and the clutch had to be replaced at the cost of nearly a 1k dont no were i stand with it

i have heard of this before, worn clutch = damage inside the box, syncros worn.

could of the garage done any damage cos all gears were working fin b4 it went in
