Default Sheffield Scoobs BEWARE

Today I got back to my car to find 3 of Rally flaps missing, scuffs on front wing (looks like they decided to run the metal brackets down the wing for good measure, side light hanging out back bumper hanging off (broken brackets when they ripped the flaps off), this was all in a car park on western bank with cctv and security patrol.

keep you scoobs in good view

yeah it will go with their stickers. On a serious note though I doubt it was a scoob owner just some scum bag trying to a make a fast buck, the most annoying thing is, just had the car painted and how they have treated it, scufffs scratches and bumper hanging off. All this after at meadowhell at christmas someone tried taking the sti spoiler... Just had that refitted correctly.

I think with more job cuts this is going to get more common

Yeah like any other city. The dregs of society will always want what someone else has worked hard for. I suppose East Yorkshire is scally free.

Hope you get the car sorted sharpish mate. Do you still see Max?

The 3 missing mud flaps are actually on a silver wagon with gold rally decals. As been seen this weekend, I have part of the registration. If anybody else can help so this information can be forwarded to the police. This persons got no scooby morals at all :-(

What are they going to do though? Even if they do something the scrubbers will only claim to have bought them legitimately or taken them off a skip.

Yeah pretty much, still didnt stop my car getting vandalised though.

I know people in sheff who tell me what its like, and have had things stolen and bits taken off their cars, im saying its not uncommon there.

i've been very lucky never has anyone mess around with any of my cars and I always park safely. However with building work at my place of work parking spaces have ben cut down, so i was limited where I could park. I was told about the car by a friend (my flaps stand out, if anyone seen erm they have lime green writing on them) I happened to be going in that neck of the woods so went down penistone road and I couldnt believe my eyes, I was stuck at traffic lights on the wrong side of the road, but they are deffo my flaps, the police will properly do nothing but its worth a try, the flaps to my knowledge cant be bought in pairs he may claim he's lossed one, his fingerprints will be all over the brackets he left behind. Plus CCTV, I also have the reciept and the flaps match my car i.e stickers same colour. I didnt think it would be a scooby owner, but why did he take of like a bat in hell when he saw my car.

If the rips match upto where they been ripped of my car (tears from brackets) and no reciept the cops have gotta at least question erm?

Some people will do anythig, so yeah a silver wagon, gold rally decals and black and lime green flaps, lovely.

I just dont want anyone else to go though this, the chap needs a word from the police, it may deter him, it might not, But its worth a try, its not like the flaps will look right anymore even if i do get erm back, so i will buy some new ones.

When the desk sergeant stops giggling about the guy reporting the theft of three mudflaps, giving a partial reg. of the offender and requesting forensics on his car. You will realize you will end up getting them back yourself........With Interest....

I didnt reported the attempted theft of a vehicle, and £795 of damage :-( Flaps are irrelevant, but yes the cops show a lot of interest when you say subaru.
