BIG difference fella WRX is slower than most hot hatches these days so a UK STi with PPP is a must or (wait for it ... ) go for a Jap version of the STi & you'll never look back.

It's just a better base to build on, if you spend £3K on your WRX it will be STI quick.... £3K on an STI is supercar territory, and bills to match, I get 21 mpg !

Good luck.

i was in the same position as you a couple of years ago matey, went from an 03 wrx to a 05 sti ppp. I can't say i've ever regretted it in the slightest . I've spent a fair few quid on it since too. So my advice would be go for it mate, but try as you might the modding bug won't stop there

If you want to know anything else matey feel free to ask.

If cash is an issue at all, the bugeye STI is just as good as an MY04 STI and can be had for a steal, leaving plenty of dollars for further upgrades.
