Default ENGINE REMOVAL

Hi guys, just wondering if there are any diagrams or pdf`s floating around on pulling my motor out? Just blew my gaskets so I wanna take it out and inspect. I`ve removed engines before and put them back in but bear in mind they were out of much older cars, mainly rwd.

So, anyone outhere got anything or any advice, it will be most welcome

Thanks in advance

Gav

hi mate im just in the middle of mine, the engine is out and stripped down. like you said "i've stripped engines before and rebuilt " but never a scooby.
trust me mate what a doddle to do! (getting the thing out) 4 bolts on gearbox to undo, down pipe, all hose's + wires connected to block,, 1 bolt either side of the subframe for the mounting,(although i did remove the front ARB to get to the n/s mounting bolt) clutch arm pin, and thats about it? (maybe a few other minor thing but thats the majors)
