You,re stressing about your cooler fella, 2 threads on it

You could get yourself an STI 7./8 TMIC fitted if you,re worried, these take 400bhp, or as said, a FMIC fitted, i,ve just had this myself and pick the car up tomorrow.

Depends on what power you,re pushing out at present on your car, i was at 330bhp so opted for the FMIC, anything that helps cooling temps is only a GOOD thing imo...

lol just curious matey lol was told today that the standard top mount gets very hot and is really bad for the engine and has major pressure drop too not really that keen on the look of the fmic and cant really be doin with the hassle of fitting it either but want more power running approx 312 at the mo

I'm selling a STi top mount which is a good upgrade for yours but will need a bit of modding to fit.

(if you search, you will see what is involved)

gains as such are dependant on engine/mods, I'm pretty sure these coolers are good for upto 400bhp.

your inlet temps will be lower so you will be able to run more boost/power than you can now.

....and you won't get the lag you would wth a front mount.
