Default Went out in a 350z 53 plate with gt spec pack

A bloke at work bought one off ebay for £7,000 in Blue. Took me for a drive in it today. Nice car, surprised how low they are to the ground. You're basically lying down in it compared to a scoob. The handling was planted but something just felt wrong? They have no accelaration compared to a scoob. They don't but because I'm used to a scoob I want something happen at 3,000rpm.

Off topic, but £7k seems cheap.

I know we were chatting about it at work. It's got the full gt spec as well. 79,000 miles. To many tw@ts on here and everywhere else devaluing there/our cars! Selling them for less than they are worth!

7k is a steal, never thought 350z would hit this sort of price as yet

i useed ti work at nissan as a service driver a few years ago, they feel dog slow and they have a VERY hard cut rev limiter,,,,,, as i discovered at a "healthy" speed

i had to deliver the GT one,,, basically it has a nismo bodykit,,, anyway i had to deliver our demo one to scotland,,,,, that was a PROPER drive,,,, i had to put half a tank of my money in it as i used soo much fuel on the car that they would have questioned my fuel card receipts

oh and the top of the door is too high,, put your arm out the window and your elbow will get sunburnt before your arm its that high

I don't know what suspension is fitted to them but it must be for the track? They are not fast , but they could more than make up for it around corners.

they seem to have taken a bigger knock in price than scoobies these, proper bargain

i've only ever driven one at a Palmer Sport day (so hardly what you'd call a road test!) but i loved it. easy to drift and so easy to control. very smooth power delivery, maybe that's what makes it feel slow?

i liked it so much i'd have happily handed over my scoob keys and driven the Z home

to be honest in the current climate i'm very tempted to have a stint in one of these

this is ours it does feel slow compared to my scoob on acceleration , but it's not slow compared to most cars and once over about 80mph they are really fast.they are really deceiving because of the smooth power delivery and it is heavy to 1600 kg for the convertible

Chalk and cheese, both great but for different reasons. Price seems about right probably down to the mileage. Others of a similer age with lower mileage seem to be up for rather more.

My car before the STi was an 04 plate blade silver GT spec 350Z. As you say they don't have the acceleration of a scoob, but once at speed they feel like they can just keep going whereas an Impreza feels like it is about to fall apart

It's a tourer not a point to point car. I loved mine I have to say. Great fun.

prices on these are really low now as being a coupe fashions change as they move onto newer trendy shapes like the new tt.

The boy has one 04 modle and i have had many good drives in it excellent build quality and handleing little bit light for me but very very fast when you use high revs and superb noise as well

thirsty similar to scooby great car would def recomend

I had a JDM one with the tiptronic gearbox(view my scooby) was a exellent car and was pretty fast and a lot luxurious than the STi, cracking car IMO and would get another if it was practicle, 276 Bhp as standard.

i appear to be getting a bit excited over a car that is not scooby stop, stop, think of the bank balance

I've got one for sale and I am very impressed with it, drives really nicely more like a BMW than a Nissan.

To give you a guide as to how prices have come down my one is a 2004/54 uk car 60k miles fsh; and its on sale at £7995, a lot of car for the money.

Lovely engine, very responsive, quick but does not really feel like 275 bhp, nice stiff chassis good handling, 6 speed, nicely weighted steering, so a lot of good points if you want a sporty 2 seat coupe.

Can't believe the prices... I px'd my 04 350z (UK car) just under 2 years ago for £18k. It was a 3 year old car then with 18k miles on the clock. I could have pushed to £19k if I sold it privately.

Crazy!

I read in a Mag. last month about the cars the Trade hate - because they cannot sell them - the 350ZX was one such car.

They are cheap as chips at the moment.

RX8's have also dropped in value really quickly as well.

7–8K for a 350Z is a great buy though

Yeah, just look on pistonheads... at first i thought this must be one of these scams.. but respectable well known dealers are asking less than most private sellers.. BTW i'm referring to the RX8.

The 350 is a really nice looking car is it a 2+2??.. i've never really bonded with a nissan every one i've had... Pulsar, GTR ended up costing a fortune and getting written off so i tent not to look in there direction anymore for fear of jinxing someone..lol
