HKS Mushroom
hi all, is the hks mushroom filter any good?does it mess up the maf readings?ive heard the powertec is maf safe?any feedback will be apprecaited.zaf

correct me if im wrong but apexi only do the panel filter right?and im sure there cotton based which means oiled?

nope Apexi do cones and ,although cotton based are not oiled.
I've got one fitted to my 93 wrx

ive got the mushroom already came on the car,just want to know if they any good and if its worth me changing it..?

In a rescent test i saw it was one of the poorest at filtering mate, i have one but im going to change soon

Problem is though that they only tested 1 sort of HKS filter and they do 3 i'm still not a fan of the filters and do prefer the look of the Apexi but it does make you wonder if they rely on their name ,rather than quality, to sell their gear.
