Looking at TV guide and noted a prog' on Ch 5 tonight at 11.05 - some police thingy. But there is mention of a police test on a new STi. Might be of interest to some on here?

Police interceptors Worth a watch buddy. The police use Subaru's and Evo's.

 

Its a repeat from last Friday. Its the ANPR guys in Essex. Evo VIII and Impreza GB270.

 

yeh seen this last week they do test one, better all round but small boot was the result.
worth watching though.

If you use the link to the Channel 5 website, you have to register to watch the video. You can register in 1 minute, only asks for email address. Slide the progress bar to about 26 minutes and you can watch the STi test without watching the whole programme. The verdict is pretty good against their existing Scooby’s, they end up giving it 7/10. More fuel for the anti hatch brigade, as you will see from the thread. Just watch it and you will see they think the car is far superior to their saloon. This is apparently disturbing to some!

 

Moderately interesting programme but I couldn't help wondering whether it was money well spent on keeping that team together. The chopper looked as if it was paying its expensive way but all those Scoobs and Evos just to catch a few drugged up chavs??? dl
