hi, can anyone help me out with what is involved to change the front wheel bearings on a 97 impreza non abs. and can i do it myself? thanks for the help

 

It is possible, i did my last one at home using a large vice, the biggest problem is pressing the bearings out of the hub and off of the axle stub. fitting the new ones was so much easier as I put the required parts into the freezer as required before pressing in. just got to make sure you can press the bearings into the hub straight.

 

once u have the old bearing out,use the old outer bearing race to guide the new one in
