I've just fitted a SS BB to my magnex centre with no resonator, has anyone else tried this combo and how did you find it matched up?

Until it was all tightened up the BB was rubbing on the rear driveshaft but after tightening its now a couple of cms clear. Mate with a wagon and full SS system had about an inch or twos clearance...........

Any thoughts/comments?

I have the Magnex decat centre mated to a std downpipe and Scoobysport BB, works for me.

oh its mental, it almost gave us brain damage on the way to meet u!!!!
3" pipe in 5" out (just as well its got the removable silencer cos i had 2 put it in 2 go home)

 

Currently have a resonated Magnex centre to SS BB and SS DP. Apparently the Maggy CC caused some problems to fit.

I have that combo works well fella although the magnex mid is slightly shorter than the SS, so there were minor fitting issues.

Thanks for that, and could well explain the problem. The gap between the exhaust and driveshaft is half what it was with the Magnex BB, so if the SS BB is designed for a slightly longer mid section, when tightened up it would reduce the gap.
Anyway, seems fine, and a good job too, coz it ain't coming off, that exhaust note is very addictive
