Default want to lose bhp?take ya scooby to dyno demon on the wirrel

bought my 04 sti as standard and was soon caught up by the mod bug, spent alot of wod getting it up to 378.4 bhp, most of the work done by scoobyclinic happy at this point, only thing being they were so far away and was a dog of a treck. i wanted more bhp and with my mate selling his fmic 6mth l8r and not fancing fitting it myself i looked for somewhere closer than sc.on the net i found a place on the wirrel dyno demon subaru specialists???? spoke to steve theyre and he told me with mods i already had with 740 injecters he cud easily get 420-440 bhp from my car. was abit confused about 740,s but hey guys a specialist yeh?wrong.left my car theyre for 2days went to pik it up it was running 383bhp an increase of 5bhp but the power tailed off after 6500rpm when b4 it powered on and on.it went bk 3wk l8r as he went on hols.i sat theyre all day while he dyno,d my car to death,32mls to be exact. we caLLED IT A DAY AT 7PM. booked it in again for following wk,nxt day my car struggled to even start the timing and mixter was out that much, after talking to numerous other scooby tuners they all said this guy does,nt know what the hell he,s doin, dont even take ya car bk theyre but i,d settled my bill like a fool 1st time on the understanding he wud get the bhp up when he got bk from hols, the car was back firing the lot, then came the excuses, which were all bull,in the end i said just put my pink injecters bk in and map it bk to how it was,all day on the dyno again at which point the smell of burnng metal i stopt the guy,he said it was mapped to how it was when it came to him,i had dyno print dun theyre at beginning.steve never said sorry and looked at me bad, hang on i,m the guy who it had cost nearly a grand in fuel and hire car over the 6wks my car was wrecked by them.i took it to sc to be put right they dyno,d it it was 320bhp,and have yet to sus the damage dyno demon have done and how much it will cost to put right.when they 1st cockt the car up my wife was that stressed she suffered a bleed on the brain which nearly killed her to which steve knew and still had us off. i,m not posting this thread out of bitterness,i,m a scooby lover and luv my car, i worked hard for it like so many of you have but theyres just so many ruthless garages out theyre that will damage ya car and rob you and you need to be warned,i will post the results of the damage when i know myself. they did,nt even put my bov on right either and bent a fuel rail, cheers steve

Mate feel for you !! It's an easy solution get everything sc say now in black and white for proof of damage etc etc and get your 60 quid small claims court and get the ball rolling,lJust because your not some multi million pond corporation does'nt mean you ant take people to court , have a look might intrest you .

The bad tuning on your car caused your wife to have a bleed on the brain ??

Are you sure, was that the medical diagnosis?

Cheers for posting it up mate, I wont be using them myself now.

Might be worth going through the small claims court so they dont get away with this.

Dont worry about the spelling and grammer police mate

My 1st option would be to drag the coont out and batter him and make him pay for a remap at a proper place. 2nd option would be... If it was me i would go and trash what cars are in the workshop or out side with some thinners etc... (A super soaker and thinners can get through any gap lol )

But thats just me...

Good luck with what ever you do buddy!
