Default Wheel bearing MY06STi 24000 miles???

I just purchased a very good looking MY06STi fitted with PPP but there is a definate noise coming from the nearside of the car, I had a wrx that had transmission whine but does not sound like that, It's been fitted with 18's could it be the wheel bearing? It has full Subaru service history by the way. And still has warranty.

Get it in and looked at before the warranty finishes.

Quite possibly wheel bearing. Usually a sort of woo woo noise more noticeable on smooth surfaces. Had mine fail at 30k on a 03STi and a mate had one get very noisy (sort of graunch graunch sound) on low miles 06STi probably caused by going sideways onto the grass at Elvingon.

Probably goosed the hub if very noisy, when you book it in make sure they know it is a 114mm PCD hub as they are harder to get hold of.
