About 2 months ago i fitted a quickshift to my Terzo, ive noticed the last few times ive taken the car out theres a whining noise when builing the power up slowly, it seems to be coming from the the centre console area/gearstick.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be, it is droned out when the turbo spins up, all ive got is a full Sc/Sp exhaust.

Thanks

It may just be the extra noise which is transmitted through the aftermarket bushes ?

Or it may be the same as happened to my car I 'quickshifted' a bit too quick one day from 1st - 2nd The synchro crunched and from then on I had a slowly increasing whine develop.

This ended one day with 2nd gear siezing on to the shaft as a little bit brass synchro had jammed in the bearing oilway.

2nd gear siezing was bad enough... but it happened whilst doing 90mph in 5th locking up all 4 wheels until the 5th gear drive key sheared !

I now shift a bit nore gently !

Hopefully this is not your problem but if it gets louder i would investigate before it goes too far. I was very lucky I was on an empty, straight road.
