Trying to track down a software programme that will convert midi etc files to sheet music, anyone know anything freeware wise worth trying ??

I found this, which has a free trial, might be worth a look.

 

Sibellius will - however... legal copies are VERY expensive

 

Any version of Cubase will do it as well (well any that has the score option )

quite a few pieces of software will too, although they are all or mostly commercial some are much easier to obtain than others

Sibelliius is well used in a lot of schools, so if you have kids in secondary school, go ask them to do it for you
