Having just joined Big Blue I get the impression that there are enough Scooby drivers to qualify for our own sub-brand.

Already seen a few cars in the Farnborough car park.

Any other Big Blue owners want to admit to it

Strange you should mention that Church_monster. I thought it was something to do with the Big Blue House on Disney Playhouse Channel.
Care to enlighten us Rannoch?

Cool

I work for Big Blue, and my car is blue too!

I know of a few within the company.

Geezer

P.S. Rannoch, when did you join, and was it of your own choice?

That'll be the biggest IT company in the world then?

Dream on, you little e-business nerds, we still rule the roost!

Purely out of curiosity you understand

Geezer

I think you will find that it is the "little e-business nerds" or CUSTOMERS that help keep the likes of you employed.

Off topic, but, isn't Cisco the biggest (IT) company in the world? Or is that just the richest?

I could be wrong... it happend once before.

Geezer,

a choice between being bought by Cap Gemini or going to IBM may sound like I had no choice! I was with EY.

I have now been in the business for two and a half weeks - another guy who joined at the same time as me has already resigned!!!!!

He told me he was already loaded and couldn't be ar$ed with the IBM way of things!

Used to work at Hursley - ok company but probably too big for its own good sometimes.

Did they ever succeed in getting Notes running the internal systems? - the old green screens (NOSS anyone?) were better IMHO...

Here's the official line endorsed by Lou Jnr.

IBM is the world's largest information technology company, as well as the world's largest
hardware company ($37.7B); IT Services ($33.2B) and IT rental and financing ($3.5B) company.
