T27 WRC for me, i can see the police starting to clamp down on number plates, they seem to have nicked a few round me recently. p plates look good if you don't have to move the letters about imo, although i nearly bought one and did just that
T27 WRC for me, can have that one spaced correctly as well. You don't need to give them more reasons to pull you over and when they do with the other plate you would have to space it correctly and it won't look good.
In answer to the OP - the WRC one is best ... the second looks like nothing until messed about with ....... and then looks like nothing!
Definitely the first one, the second just looks random.
My plate is S100BYS which is obvious to most people what it says, but I have the plates standard and legal, with no daft fonts or spacing.
If you want a word, the only option that doesnt look completely gash is to spend a lot more and get a 'proper' private plate - ones like M1 KEF, PEN15 etc... that dont need messing about with to try and make them spell something.

I also have a T** WRC plate on my 06 WRX, went for it in the end as it meant I did not have to bother messing around with letters and risk being pulled, originally looked at Sccob plates but too much hassle for me.
Looks excellent but whilst at a wedding last week one guy did mention what good condition my 'T' reg car was, OMG!!!

I always thought I'd never buy a personal plate, and probably wouldn't for myself, but my brother and sister-in-law have just bought me *40 GPE for my 40th birthday. I suspect its my s-i-l's idea just to remind me of my age everytime I go to the car.
T27 WRC definately.

If I did a search for this on here would I find a for sale sign on this plate dating well back 8 years or so? It seems to crop up regular?

No m8 this number plate has never been advertised. But because you dont need to space out the plate the police dont bother.
Its when u space them or modify the plate is when u get pulled over
