im afraid i havent seen any of BOB'5's kits, but I fitted one to my own car last night in about 10 minutes.

does yous have a control type box?

you should have at least 1 wire that should go back to the positive battery terminal.

The kit i have has 2 earths, 1 positive, and two oval plugs that go into the units themselves. It also has two female connectors that plug into the male fittings on the bulbs

then on the bulbs you could have upto wires. two go back to the unit (these are usually round, and you CANNOT get them mixed up as they only go one way) and you may have a squarish plug. this would go onto the main loom as mentioned earlier.

if you were nearer to me i'd offer to come and look at it with you, but sadly you're not.

Once you lay everything out it is quite simple.

You have two different ways of fitting it:

1. Plug and Play
2. Wired directly to the battery

This is why you will have connections/wires spare.

Instructions should be fairly clear but I will dig up some walkthrough guides that some people on the GB have done.

if yours doesnt have a control type box, then it is still likely to be wired very similarily.

lay it out on a table and connect everything up, maybe take a pic and post it?

Everything is colour coded and it's near impossible to get things wired up wrong.

I recommend fitting the wiring harness as opposed to doing it the plug'n'play route.

Yes, only plug in one side to the OE headlamp plug. Cover the other one up.

the best bit is that ive managed to hide it all, ballasts under the headlights nice and secure and ive hid all the wiring, so it looks factory. .

just waiting for it to get dark so i can see the effect. lol

many thanks again all, and to BOB'5 , for everything, and the super delivery

dan
I have my HID kit layed out on the kitchen floor, will fit it today hopefully.

Did you remove the headlights to hide the ballasts?

what i also done was to put some of that black, corrigated, electrical wire conduit stuff over the wires from the battery so they look factory aswell.

I just fitted mine, I fitted the ballasts under the headlights and ran the wires along the bumper recess. They are very easy to intstall once you get started! I am really happy with the 4300K kit, the light looks very similar to my friends Integra DC5 that had HIDs from factory

Default post pics up of the HIDs

Guys can you please post some pics up of what these HID lights look like in the dark? As many as possible please as I am also thinking of getting some off BOB if they are the dogs danglers and look like the ones you get on the M3/R32/lambos etc etc.

I dont want any that are too bright and chavvy where can easily see they are aftermarket stuff.

Thanks
