Colour of my windscreen, Anybody Know???

Default Colour of my windscreen, Anybody Know???

Im having my windscreen replaced on tuesday and the company doing it has rang me to ask what colour it is.

They say it could be Green, Bronze or blue. i cant tell for sure just by looking at it, so does anybody know??

Car is my99 turbo 2000

Clear isn't it?

Sorry I'm being fesecious, but will it matter if you are having your whole windscreen replaced? Might be a bit strange at first if they bring a different colour.

Should of expected it really.

probably doesnt matter that much, just dont want it to look different to rest of the glass on car??

i had mine done few month back and they asked and i said it was blue cos its a blue car turned out the glass is green ... cant tell too much just put a piece of white paper behind it and try see wot color it is maybe??

tbh wont make much difference, blue and gree are uk spec, bronze/brown is for imports.

would you believe the screens are £500 for uk spec, and £1500 fro import sepc

i've had blue and green in mine and seems to look the same lol

get some plain white paper get in car and hold the paper up against windscreen u will then see a colour tint through paper(just make sure u do it in the day light not in the dark before any one says anything ) lol1:

If it is a UK car then it should have a green tint. The Jap imports have a blue tint. I know this because Autoglass put a rear side window with a blue tint in my MY00, and you WILL see the difference, and get really irritated when they replace it with another blue one.

jap imports are brown not blue, uk are either blue or green
